Spotlight on Students
"A sorority sister told me about a Women's and Gender Studies class she was taking. After I took Intro to Sociology and Social Problems, it seemed like something I might be interested in--particularly where politics and activism are concerned. I also thought I would gain knowledge which would be useful within my work against relational aggression." Britan describes Women's and Gender Studies as adding a different perspective to her studies, enhancing her ability to analyze all sides of different issues. She has interests in the beauty and fashion industry and is interning with Victoria's Secret PINK, but eventually she wants to found her own non-profit which focuses on relational aggression. In her many roles on campus as Vice President of Communications for Pi Beta Phi sorortiy and many chairs for Panhellinic, CAC and others.
