Name: Randi Haley
Major: Women's and Gender Studies
Graduation date: Fall 2016
Plans after graduation:
Pursue a career in birth justice activism/attend grad school.
Why did you choose to major/minor in WGS:
After spending 30+ years of my adult life as a feminist/activist, it seemed like a good fit.
What do you like about majoring/minoring in WGS:
Learning the history of feminism and feminist theory taught me that feminism isn't sexist at all, but rather a perspective specifically moving away from sexism.
Why is WGS important to you:
I came here to learn how to defend women's interests. I am happy to say I am now able to defend human interest from a new perspective (contrary to patriarchal way of understanding).
